GORRETH NAMUDDU
Tailoring Program Coordinator
Goreth has been a sewing instructor with Africa Development Promise—Uganda for the past two years, playing a key role in our vocational training programs. Her exceptional qualifications and skill set demonstrate her commitment to empowering women through education.
Goreth holds a certificate in tailoring, and her dedication to her craft is evident in her achievement as the top performer in her class through the Tiner School of Beauty and Fashion Design. Her journey in fashion and design has been marked by a notable stint with one of Uganda's finest fashion houses, Kyaligonza Fashions, where she honed her expertise.
What sets Goreth apart is her ability to go beyond the conventional scope of sewing instruction. With her wealth of experience and deep understanding of clothing, fashion, and design, she imparts knowledge that transcends mere sewing proficiency. Goreth's mission is to empower women to appreciate clothing fashion as an art form, enabling them to become skilled seamstresses and creative designers.
She has now transitioned to the ADP Impact Hub, where she will continue her work training and mentoring women. We are grateful for her contributions and look forward to her continued impact in this new role.
