KELLEN KANSIIME
Agribusiness Coordinator

Kellen Kansiime is a passionate agribusiness professional and a proud alumna of Africa Development Promise’s (ADP) Girls with Dreams (GWD) program. Her journey with ADP began as a GWD participant, where her academic excellence earned her a full scholarship to attend Makerere University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness Management.

She returned to ADP as an intern, where she worked for nine months supporting various programs and deepening her practical experience. Her dedication and leadership led to her appointment as Agribusiness Coordinator for the ADP Impact Hub in Uganda. In this role, Kellen oversees activities at the Mushroom Hub, where she supports students, smallholder farmers, and cooperatives in cultivating mushrooms as a sustainable agribusiness, promoting food security, and increasing household incomes.

Kellen previously completed her senior internship with the National Union of Coffee Agribusinesses and Farm Enterprises Ltd (NUCAFE), gaining hands-on experience in market-driven agricultural systems. Her commitment to empowering smallholder farmers and creating value in the agricultural sector continues to drive her work at ADP.
